Interior Design Over the years, I have gotten a chance to work on different projects ranging from office to residential and retail as well. This part of my portfolio will highlight some of the projects I worked on. The reigning style in Pakistan is semi- classical these days, and this is partially the reason most of my projects seem to be inspired from that style.

PROJECT 1 - Residential Design
In this project with the help of my team I managed to conceptualize, plan and execute the project to the last detail. The client wanted a classical contemporary touch for their rooms which I managed to provide them through careful selection of furniture, fabric and wall treatments.
PROJECT 2 - Residential Design
This living room space was inspired by semi classical French look with a fireplace. In this I guided the client with interior design and decoration, with wall treatment details and multiple finishes.
PROJECT 3 - Residential Design
This project is among one of my very first projects in which my team and I first worked on drawings then made 3ds and then managed to replicate our idea physically as well. I worked on straight lines while keeping the whole space modern.

This was a small space for study for which I was inspired by English country side study rooms with wooden paneling and coffered ceiling. I had guided the client through fabric selection, accessories, window treatment as well.
A mix of classical and contemporary blended in together for a formal living room where the client was guided throughout for furniture, fabric, furniture, wallpaper and accessories finishes.
PROJECT 5 and 6 - Residential Design
This is one of my projects which I am really proud of as it was a small space which through my design I visually expanded. The space is dedicated for a bachelor who likes to entertain his friends in this place.

This is one of the various retail design projects that I got to work on while at Renaissance. I collaborated with my colleague on this with designs, working drawings and details.
Visual Merchandising Part of my job as an Interior Designer was to accessorize spaces. I got the chance to explore visual merchandising while working in Renaissance which enhanced my creative designing capabilities. Projects in this part of my portfolio will highlight my Interior Decoration skills.

Furniture Design During my work experience I got extensive opportunity to work on furniture design from concept to manufacturing as well. This part of my portfolio highlights my furniture designing skills which I personally feel stems from my background in Industrial Design degree.

In furniture design I explored with materials and their finishes. Introducing embroidery and screen printing as an alternate and making furniture pieces more personalized and unique.

This design brief for this project was to design a window display for a renowned fabric brand in Italy - Zefiro. The concept behind this design was Spool which is considered as a starting point of any project. This window also reflected the care, design specialty and quality which is the crux of Zefiro as those are the qualities which sets this company apart from its competitors.
Project 3 - Hospitality Design
Limoncello is a fresh restaurant concept proposed for the current site of La Viola in Hong Kong. Inspired by the Amalfi Coast, this design uses traditional Amalfi designs and materials in contemporary and unexpected way. The concept makes use of the lemon and traditional Amalfi tile design as design motif, reinterpreting into mono-line designs and blowing up the scale to create a design that is nontraditional, yet unmistakably Amalfi. The motifs serve to unify the space and concept as a whole, used on branding materials, the restaurant many design, the tired statement wall, and the brass inlayed travertine bar. These motifs, employed alongside a bright color scheme, a multitude of hanging plants and an open floorplan, work to create a space that is fresh, casual and natural, like the Amalfi coast itself.

Project 4 - Industrial Design
The chess design assignment was done in my Master’s Degree at Florence Design Academy this was also chosen to be displayed in school exposition. Rest of the projects are from my Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design from Visual Studies, Karachi University.
