BACKGROUND OF ORGANIZATION SEHJIRA Deaf Foundation was established on December, 5, 2001 by some Indonesian deaf volunteers in order to collect charity and provide the properly information on education and employment for the poor deaf family who are lack of financial and spiritual’s needs so that the equality and welfare could be well aimed. To reach the welfare for the deaf family, it is necessary to build ‘a place’ to provide the information and support services so that able to build ‘a bridge’ among the Deaf Community who live in the society so that there will be an open discussion, suggestion, participation, response and the encouraging critic for the education and employment.
