Instagram: fakhiarif Question: How to keep your skin moist and hydrated in summers? “To keep your skin moist & hydrated the following things should be considered: 1. Spf 30! Sun block is a must in the summer heat & anything with spf 30 blocks 97% of the UVB rays. 2. Kielhs ultra facial cream. No matter how oily you get, never skip your moisturizer. 3. MAC cosmetics Fix+ or Dickinson’s hydrating facial mist.”
Instagram: makeupbysaniyakhan Question: How to make your makeup last longer? “Prepping your skin before makeup application is the most essential step to make it last longer! Start off by using a toner to help get rid of excess oils and balance the pH in the skin. Use a water based moisturizer to hydrate with and an oil-free pore minimizing primer! This gives the skin a smooth finish and helps makeup stay put. Use an oil-free foundation and then cream based products on the face and set them with a matching powder. Instead of buffing in the powders in circular motion, stipple them onto the face to lock the products in place. Use LOADS of setting spray! Lastly, always carry a compact to dab on areas that appear shiny”.
Instagram: sandysartistry Question: How to avoid getting tanned? “Skin care routine is necessary to avoid getting tanned. One should only apply sunscreen post the skin regiment- Cleanser, moisturizer and sunscreen. There are also many BB & CC creams and even foundations which have SPF added in their composition and can be used for dual benefit without the hassle of applying two different products”.

Instagram: makeupbyaliyaalmahmoud Question- DIY facemasks for surviving summers “A face pack made with gram flour, curd, tomato juice and turmeric gives an instant glow for people with oily skin. For those with a dry skin type, a tablespoon of raw milk mixed with gram flour and a teaspoon of ghee can be applied at night for 15 mins before washing it off with lukewarm water. This decelerates the appearance of wrinkles and at the same time hydrates and gives the dry skin it’s much needed glow and moisture during summers.”

Instagram: bridesbynadia Question: How to treat tan lines and sunburns? Answer: “A shower scrub requires you to slough off the top layer of your skin to start the fading process! (If your skin is burned, please wait a few days or it won’t be pleasant). Lemon is a natural exfoliant, which is also gentle as it does not require any harsh scrubbing! You need to dilute the lemon juice in honey so it doesn’t burn. Leave this on for 25 mins and rinse. Potato slices work like magic too. If you have a red burn line rather than a tan line, then you can cut a potato into thin slices and place it on the affected areas! Let sit for 15 mins and then remove!”

Instagram: makeoversbyaliya Question: The perfect makeup for summers? “Keeping your makeup light is the key. Use a concealer instead of foundation, choose cheek stain over powdered blush, wear lip stains instead of thick, creamy lipsticks, use bronzer for a sun-kissed look and opt for matte products over shimmers. Keep blotting papers handy to use them instead of more powder.”
