In the tapestry of Sikh lore, Kaur is a name given to women, signifying equality and dignity. It was introduced by Guru Gobind Singh Ji, to assert a woman’s sovereign status and parity within the community. KOUR as a brand envisions to take this lineage forward by creating clothes that allow you to use fashion as a tool of self expression.

The founders of KOUR, share a profound belief that fashion is a powerful form of Self-Expression. Their journey commenced serendipitously at a workshop celebrating the allure and the simplicity of homegrown brands. Here, they bonded over their mutual love for fashion. Both were at a point in life where they craved something fulfilling, whether it was launching a business or engaging in work that kindled their daily enthusiasm and passion.Their conversations eventually gave rise to KOUR.

The hand-block prints, the textiles and the bright colors caught their eye. While exploring the city, a few locals suggested that Surat might better suit their tastes. Upon returning to Hyderabad, they began researching the Surat market online to better understand its potential. With Vibrant hues, Artistic prints, and Meticulous detailing, each outfit creates an experience.

The inclusive range of KOUR ensures that there's something for each individual, irrespective of shape, size & skin tone. We challenge ourselves to create silhouettes that are timeless & progressive. The debut collection drew inspiration from the rich traditional crafts of Jaipur and Surat, featuring a range of hand block & digital prints. Crafted from varieties of cotton, muslin, and satin, our fabrics ensure comfort while creating poised ensembles.
