Matt Bolton is a modern day one-man-band show using loops created live-on-the-spot and other technology to bring a contemporary pop, classic rock, or roots-rock vibe to your soirée With hints of retro electronic, rock, reggae, and funk, he combines guitar, drums, bass sounds, keyboards, synth, harmonica, mic, and live vocals to create a full band sound that gets crowds of all sizes up and dancing Matt picks from a seemingly endless collection of covers and originals to create an unforgettable live performance that shows off his ingenuity. His unique looping style magically reproduces the feel and energy of a complete band with no pre-recorded tracks Matt's résumé includes touring bands with legendary musicians like Todd Rundgren, Jesse Colin Young, and Bill Kreutzmann (Grateful Dead) Matt tours extensively (250 shows a year) all around the country with weekly residency gigs while at home in the SF Bay Area
