The three volumes of the Salve Regina College Annals covers the span of 1947-1991. The first volume reflects upon the celebratory events succeeding the donation of the Goelet estate, Ochre Court, to the Sisters of Mercy and how the college was first set up. It also accounts all of the individuals that partook in the establishment, from special clerical guests to faculty changes of permanent sisters and the staff, and their particular participation in noted events or accolades for their personal accomplishments. The second volume was written exclusively by Sister Mary Jean Tobin and it indicates dates of significant importance accompanied by a brief explanation of the event and prominent attendees. The final installment is a continuation of the chronicle of noteworthy occurrences. The books not only contain lists of events located at Salve Regina College but also document the travels of associates of the school, as well as world events.
