Following th e receiving of th e rings, congratulatory and significant addresses were g iven by Moth er Mary Hilda , R.S.M., Rev. Father Sh ea, a nd Si ster Mary James, R.S.M., dean . Sister Mary .lames chose as her su b ject the valu e and meaning of the Mercy seal which graces one side of the heavy gold setting of the ring in which the star sapphire rests . Paren ts and friends of ·;·he honored class w& re se rv ed ·j·ea in ·;·he dining room following th e program . Benediction in i·he chap el ·form ed ·rhe close of 'rh e day's activities. After the formal closing of this day's activities, parents a nd {ri end s remained for a w hil e ·ro meet members of ·;·he faculty whil e th e Juniors mad e ready ·for the next day's Ring Dance .
