" I love it!" enthusiastically e xclaims every freshman , myself included, when asked her opinion of colle ge life . Yesterday, I stopped momentarily :·o ponder the reasons for this see mingly favorite expression. Thoughts came at random : of wonderful classmates, so will ing to work together ·ro make every und e rtaking , whe ther a coke party for se niors or replacing chairs after assembly, successful , and of fr iendly upperclassmen always greeting frightened freshmen with "Could I he lp you?" With their personal interest in everyone's welfare, the sisters have truly gained my gratitude and love .

Black cats, goblins and witches will hold a " Ghostly Rendezvous" in the cafeteria at Ochre Court at 7:30 P. M. on Thursday, October 30. Sponsored by the soda lity :·his annual Hallowe'en party is a gala occasion . The program for the e vening features a costume parade with prizes awarded for t he prettiest, the funniest, and the most orig inal among the creations, e nterta inment, and refreshments. The proceeds from the party will go to the missions and also help finance :·he Christmas party fo r poor children, a nother of the sodality's many projects.

The n, too, there are excellent scholastic courses, combining to give us a thorough, ·.veil-round ed e ducation. But most important, I found , what makes S.R .C. d e ar to my heart, is the privilege of living so close to Our Lord, both spiritually and physically. As I kn e el in chapel e ach morning , my day takes on new mean ing . Eve ry smile or whispe red e ncouragement to a tired or depressed classmate, every assignment well done, every dinner well served, all merge with one purpose, not attainment of an " A.B .", but a ttainment of my only true goal in life, finding and helping others \o -:lnd re al happiness, God!
