LANGUAGE Europe is a continent with many countries (about 50) and almost each country has its own language, known as the national language. Some countries have even more than one national language. The European union of 28 member states has 24 official languages, but in practice only two are used most often: English and French. The most popular languages taught in schools are English, Spanish, German and French.
DEMOCRATIC Europe is a democratic continent because there’s no dictatorship, and people can decide by themselves what they want making elections. So everyone can say their opinion and they have rights and obligations.
DIVERSITY People who live in Europe have different races, traditions and religions. We respect each others. Europe respects the different types of persons and knows that exist a lot of persons in the world and they are different from each other.
TRADITION In each one of the European countries, they share their own tradition which is usually respected by tourists when visiting. Examples include: - Christmas (Some Parts of Europe) - Tió de Nadal (Spain) - La Befana (Italy) - Santa Lucia’s Day (Scandinavia) -
