This is a historic year for The Episcopal School of Dallas: We achieved our founder’s vision of uniting all of our learners on one campus. In addition to the possibilities for enhanced cross-curricular and multi-divisional learning and sharing, we can see the positive impact of having us all together. Our lower schoolers have raised everyone’s spirits, including influencing our older students in a way that is readily apparent and heartwarming. Tonight, we experience what is most treasured beyond ESD’s education: our community. While there will be much laughter, it is the love for our children — the students of ESD — that inspires the generosity and collective commitment of everyone here. Through your support, funds raised tonight will help provide enrichment opportunities and resources for students of all ages, like tuition assistance and the continued professional development of our school’s greatest asset: our faculty and staff. For the past year, our auction chairs, Katherine Bullock, Christina Gray, and Debbie Munir, and many others have invested a tremendous number of hours planning, organizing, and realizing this incredible evening to celebrate our becoming ONE. Auction Rules CHECK-IN At check-in, guests will receive a bid number to use in the Raffle, Big Board, and Live Auction. A credit card must be provided at check-in to bid on items. Accepted forms of payment are Master Card or Visa.
BIG BOARD To bid on Big Board items, you will utilize your mobile phone, click on the link you received at check-in, and the link will log you in to the mobile bidding site. Your name, bid number, and table number will be listed at the top of your phone. Click on the items tab to view all items. To bid on an item, enter your bid number and then enter the minimum bid displayed or the maximum you are willing to pay for the item. The computer will bid for you, up to your maximum bid. The Auctioneer will announce when Big Board will start to close. If there have been no bids for 90 seconds, the item will close as scheduled after the Live Auction. If there is bidding on an item during the last 90 seconds, the bidding time will extend until there are no new bids for 90 seconds for that item. All sales are final.
LIVE To bid on Live items, raise your bid number or hand to be recognized by the Auctioneer. Once the Auctioneer says “SOLD,” the winning bidder must hold up his or her hand until the sale is recorded. The winning bidder will be presented with a bid sheet to sign and confirm the purchase price of the item auctioned. Your bid, oral or written, is a binding contract. All sales are final.

Where trips or special events are involved, dates must be agreed upon by both the purchaser and donor, unless the date is clearly stated in the item’s description.
