“Previous work experience needed” is usually the most common and overwhelming phrase of a job offer. Our Job Center wants to make sure that this never stops you in your job search. Because of that, we offer the possibility to do work internships during the third or fourth course, given that you have approved at least 120 ECTS credits from your syllabus. In order to coordinate the internships, please send an e-mail to practiques@esdi.edu.es with your résumé and your language certificates.

Workaholics

Joint project between the different subjects for the development of an event in the style of the TED Talks. Development of a project linked to eco-design.

Dos & Don’ts “Don’t be afraid to get together with other colleagues in order to develop more competent projects. Get out of your comfort zone and experiment with new materials, machinery, textures, ideas… In our case, that was the embryo of our current start-up. We believe it’s important to dedicate time and do what you’re passionate about”.

Ane Castro and Núria Costa (ZER), ESDi graduates in Fashion Design “I recommend for you to read a lot, impregnate yourselves with all the information possible (always through liable sources) in order to obtain the capacity to absorb everything that allows you to improve your product. Ask yourselves if the information is valid, search the reasons behind everything”

We know it’s not always easy to find spaces that encourage theoretical and experimental training. Because of this, ESDi has a program for resident students in order to coordinate the involvement of students in real projects carried out by the University Department of Design Analysis and Development, and the Experimentation and Application Ambits, as well as initiatives in which they participate. From the third academic year onwards, you can request your acceptance as a “resident student”, which will suppose a dedication of, at least, 15 hours per week (except during exams and project presentations) with the Department.

Get busy
