HEALTH & SAFETY PLAYBOOK The 76ers Camps has adapted and changed this year in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. For 37 years, 76ers Camps has been renowned for its attention to detail, safety and thoughtful planning of its curriculum, training, and player development program. We have been working diligently to develop new protocols to ensure our players and staff members are in a safe environment. The changes outlined in this playbook will help to ensure that players and staff will be spaced out adequately and as safe as possible. We will also be placing a greater emphasis on fundamentals and skill development. In the Health & Safety Guidelines Playbook that follows, we will be implementing new safety procedures and protocols as well as limiting the number of players and reducing team/group sizes to allow us to follow social distancing guidelines. This will allow us to provide the best possible camp experience at the #1 Camp in the NBA.

KIDS NEED CAMP NOW MORE THAN EVER The 76ers Camps Staff has been working to adapt and change our program and curriculum to provide the safest possible camp experience this summer. Now, more than ever, kids need an outlet and an opportunity to play and just be kids. Although everyone has been suffering during this pandemic, our kids may be suffering the most. Their social, physical, mental and emotional health has stagnated, having been forced to stay home and learn on a digital screen. Their activities and sports teams were halted and their fitness and overall health has taken a large toll with regards to their growth, maturity and development.

HOW WE CAN HELP OUR PLAYERS Just like every summer, we pay special attention to the health of our players. We have additional measures and protocols in place for Summer 2020 that will help to ensure that our players, staff and families are as safe as possible. The benefits of exercise, team bonding, skill development, and character building are critical to the overall health and wellness of our children

Our plan is designed to be flexible, so that we can adapt to changes and recommendations from local, state and national agencies as needed.

A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR YOUR PLAYERS Camp is not a risk-free environment, but increased safety procedures and policies have been created to minimize risk and provide our players with a memorable camp experience. At 76ers Camps you will find the following safety changes that have been made for Summer 2020.

LIMITING THE NUMBER OF CAMPERS AT EACH SITE 76ers Camps is limiting the number of registrants at each camp this summer. This will help us to ensure that camp is smaller at each location, and that we can keep players in smaller and separate groups at all times.

CAMPERS WILL BE IN THE SAME GROUP ALL WEEK Players will be assigned to a group and a team prior to the start of camp. They will be in the same group all week with same coach to limit exposure to other campers.

6-8 FT SPACING PER CAMPER Players will be spaced 6-8 ft apart during fundamentals and skill development drills. Players will be divided up by court and when applicable by gym/and or outside courts to ensure the safety of all campers and staff.

LIMITING THE SIZE OF GROUP In addition to accepting a limited number of players at each location, we will be further dividing players into smaller groups. These smaller groups will be consistent, managed and spaced out over the courts at all times in order to ensure all social distancing measures are met, while also providing a more intimate camp setting.

CAMPER TO STAFF RATIO OF 10:1 Given the fact that we are limiting the number of players at each location, we will be working with a maximum 10 to 1 ratio of campers to coaches. This is the best ratio you will find at any basketball camp in the country, and will be conducive to keeping players in smaller groups and provide more attention within fundamentals and skill development towards each camper.

CHANGING OVERNIGHT CAMP TO EXTENDED DAY CAMP 76ers Overnight Camps this year will be moving to an extended day-camp model, removing the option for campers to stay overnight at camp, while eliminating many of the shared spaces normally present at overnight camp. This is an additional step we have taken toward ensuring the safety and social distancing of players in 2020.

SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT PLAN The guidelines and requirements for managing a member of our camp community with symptoms will be provided by local and state Boards of Health. The plan below is based on CDC and ACA guidelines for camps and child care programs. We will continue to update these guidelines as provided by our local and state agencies.

76ERS CAMPS MEDICAL TEAM

DAILY SCREENING

* Camp medical team screening by Camp Doctor and Nurse and daily screening by our Athletic Trainer.

* Screening protocols are reviewed by our Pro Team Sports Medical Team.

* Camp protocols and procedures are reviewed by our Pro Team Sports Medical Team.

* All staff will be educated on recognizing signs and symptoms of COVID-19.

COMMUNICATION

SYMPTOMS AND TRACING

* Follow all reporting guidelines as set by local and state Boards of Health.

* Limited group size and player collaboration will allow for timely contact review and tracing if necessary.

* Alert families and staff members immediately of any potential exposure.

IF A PLAYER OR STAFF MEMBER DEVELOPS SYMPTOMS AT CAMP Players or staff with possible symptoms will be directed to the quarantine area for further assessment by the athletic trainer. If a player is taken to the quarantine area, the parents or guardian will be called by the camp director. If necessary, the athletic trainer will communicate directly with the parents or guardian. If a staff member is taken to the quarantine area and has self-transported to camp, the staff member will be escorted to their car with the proper PPE mask and sent home and instructed to seek medical attention. Anyone sent home will not be able to return to camp without providing the camp with a negative COVID-19 test result. 12

76ERSCAMPS.COM

SYMPTOM MANAGEMENT PLAN IF THERE IS A POSITIVE DIAGNOSIS If a player or staff member reports they are COVID-19 positive, 76ers Camps will maintain the confidentiality of the individual at all times while mitigating the situation. The case will be reported to the proper health authorities and all families and staff of the individual’s team will be notified immediately. All facilities that the individual came in contact with will be deep cleaned and disinfected per CDC guidelines. We expect that all players and staff members who came in close contact with the infected individual will be required to quarantine for 14 days and that any persons classified as having a proximate exposure would be required to self-monitor for symptoms for the same 14-day period. CDC guidelines for handling exposure and mitigating risk of exposure will be strictly followed. Persons who test positive for COVID-19 will not be allowed to return to camp.

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF “CLOSE CONTACT”? The CDC defines close contact as interactions within 6 ft. for more than 15 minutes. Contact tracing will be carried out by trained staff in conjunction with the local health department.

WHAT IS THE DEFINITION OF “PROXIMATE EXPOSURE”? A proximate exposure is defined as interactions greater than 6 ft. from an infected individual within a shared space.

MISSED CAMP DAYS If a player misses camp due to being quarantined or potential exposure to an infected individual, they will receive a credit towards the 2021 camp season for the days missed.
