HOW ACTIVISTS

USE ‘TINO RANGATIRATANGA’ TO GET OWNERSHIP OF STATE OWNED LAND AND PRIVATELY OWNED LAND.

Activists say that the Treaty gives Maori the right to own (be chiefs over) all land and resources associated with the land (i.e. plants, insects, flowers, fauna, forests, animals, greenstone, birds, water..literally anyting associated with the land etc).

They make a distiction between privately owned land and all other land. They know they can’t ‘claim’ land owned by private individuals. To argue otherwise would create instant civil war.

But in their view, all land not owned by private individuals is rightfully theirs. That is to say, all land currently owned by the Crown / government e.g. all mountains, all rivers, all beaches, all forests, all DOC land, all roads, all bridges, all parks. Everything. This is what they mean by ‘unqualified exercise of chieftainship’.

Having said this, privately owned land is not off limits either. How so?

They have been trying devious ways to get private land e.g. writing to private land owners, informing them that the council is going to ‘re-classify’ their land. Maori activists inside central government are collaborating with activists inside local government target taking private land.

They use various ‘designations’ like :

• SNAs, (signficant Natural Areas)

• SASMs (Sites and Areas of Significance to Maori)

• ONFs (Outstanding Natural Features)

• ONLs (Outstanding Natural Landscapes)

• WAHI TAPU (reclassifying land as being sacred to Maori). My own land was reclassified in this way which is how I got onto all this i.e. was awakened to how they are taking private land. Read my story HERE.

In my case, local Maori wanted my land. They collaborated with Heritage NZ, an activist organisation inside government. Together, they made up the story of the land. When asked for proof of so called ‘facts’ in their report, there was radio silence. This is how they are operating. You can object, but it makes no difference.

Once this new designation is slapped on your title, the value of your land is halved, since no one with any brains will buy land with even a whiff of ‘Maori’ on the title. The activists know this. They hope the land owner will simply pull up stumps. Maori can then swoop in and buy the land at a fire sale price. It’s a cunning plan.

This is a carefully thought through strategy to get hold of private land.

What we must realise is that Maori are gunning for complete control of the country, including all land and resources. They will do anything to get them. They think long term. They chip away constantly, making gains by increment. A little bit of land here, a bit there. Law by law, amendment by amendment, statute by statute, they are relentlessly chipping away. It’s called Maorification creep. Join the dots.

We are naive in the extreme if we think otherwise.
