Eskenazi Ltd Summer Exhibition: Gogottes: unfolding time.
The exhibition will be held at the gallery on 10 Clifford Street from 8th June to 8th July.
It follows the success of the gallery’s landmark exhibition
dedicated to these geological marvels which was held in May 2018, and which included
catalogue introductions by the celebrated artist Tom Phillips, CBE, RA, and the legendary
naturalist Sir David Attenborough, OM, CH, CVO, CBE, FRS, FLS, FZS, FSA. This
exhibition includes 12 gogottes, including the largest known example to exist in private hands.
The catalogue includes an essay written by the British geologist Michael Welland (1946-2017),
who won the John Burroughs Medal for his book Sand: a journey through science and the imagination.
A physical catalogue of the exhibition can be purchased from the gallery.
