Teachers usually live in smaller towns or in the city suburbs. You’ll have an authentic local experience rather than being confined to the traditional “tourist trail”, although your teacher will also be an excellent guide to the area’s must-sees!

Staying in a single bedroom with full board provided, you can take advantage of every moment spent with your teacher to enrich your full-immersion experience.

Compatibility between you and your teacher is paramount, which is why you’ll be asked to fill out a form expressing your preferences, interests and any other special requests. This programme is particularly suitable for professionals who need to work on specific language skills in their field, for students wishing to improve their language knowledge and for anyone who wants to prepare for an official exam. Regardless of your age or profession, studying in the teacher’s home will allow you to improve your language skills based on your needs.

Whether you wish to practise conversation, target your problem areas with the language, or simply study at your own pace through a privileged relationship with your teacher, this programme gives you the opportunity to make significant progress in a minimum amount of time.

Living with your teacher means that you’ll make the most of every moment to achieve your objectives not only during lessons, but also during the rest of the time you spend together. You won’t have the opportunity to speak in your native language, and the total immersion extends to conversations during meals, activities and social interactions you’ll have with the members of your teacher’s family in your target language.

The “one-to-two” option enables you to book a private course with a friend, family member or a colleague with the same language level. Course content is entirely tailor-made prior to your arrival, and lessons are given all year round, even at Christmas, New Year or Easter.

COURSES

GENERAL INFORMATION

Lessons: 15, 20, 25 or 30 (60 minutes each). Duration: 1 to 48 weeks. Level: beginner to advanced. Students/group: 1 student (one-to-one) or 2 students (one-to-two) with the same level and interests. Minimum age: 18. Schedule: to be arranged with the teacher.

TYPES OF COURSES

Intensive course: Get the best results through a private course, designed to suit your interests and needs.

Exam preparation course: Your teacher will design a course to prepare you for an internationally recognised language exam. Please note that exams cannot be taken on site.

Business course: Through this general business language course, you will acquire the language you need to work in a modern office setting.

Professional language course: This programme is designed for executives and professionals that require a tailor-made course, adapted to their specific needs.
