14 Weddings on Valentine’s Day The Town of Cobourg’s Legislative Services Department married 14 couples on Valentine’s Day as part of a wedding promotion that included discounted ceremonies, a 30-minute rental of the Old Bailey Courtroom, a civil ceremony performed by one of the Town’s three Marriage Officiants, and one lucky couple won a free ceremony!

Beginning at 9 a.m. and ending at 4 p.m. Victoria Hall was bustling with love from weddings with just the happy couple to a packed court room of 80 guests, and even two adorable therapy dogs (as guests…they didn’t get married). The Town of Cobourg performs civil ceremonies every Friday.
Every Friday 1:00 p.m. 2:00 p.m. 3:00 p.m.
One Hour Rental of the Old Bailey Courtroom
Typical Fee: $300 (tax included) “We will cherish this memory of our special day. It makes us feel right at home, included and welcome in our new home of Cobourg.”
