Check out one of the many books about paper airplanes on hoopla hoopla.
WHAT TO DO: 1. Colour in the rockets 2. Cut the rockets out 3. Cut the larger straw about 10cm long and tape one end shut 4. Tape this straw to the back of the rocket, making sure the taped off end is at the top of the rocket 5. Slip the narrower straw into the larger straw and BLOW!
STEAM THINGS UP: How does the angle you launch your rocket affect the distance it travels? Try out different angles and record the results. Can you design your own rockets to attach to the straws? Which designs work better? Try adding another fin to your rocket with tape. How does it affect the flight of your rocket?
