OUR PROGRAMS INFORMATION AND REFERRAL FCSS Lloydminster aims to connect residents to local resources in the community through directories, newsletters, brochure distribution, events and celebrations. SENIORS TAXI PROGRAM Seniors Taxi Program: Allows seniors 65+ to buy tickets that provide one-way transit to a location within city limits at a cost of $5 per trip. NEIGHBOURHOOD BLOCK PARTY PROGRAM Neighbourhood Block Party Program: Supports residents wanting to host block/street parties and get to know their neighbours better through: ▪ provision of free fun filled activities and games ▪ help with liability insurance, permitting, and road closures ▪ limited financial assistance A connected neighbourhood is stronger, safer and happier. AWARENESS AND EDUCATION The Social Programs and Services department raises understanding of community issues through awareness campaigns, workshops and special events. Some highlights include National Seniors Day, mental health workshops, elder abuse prevention and the Community Social Needs Assessment. NON-PROFIT GRANTS Through non-profit grants, FCSS Lloydminster administers over $500,000 in community funds to local non-profits through the Saskatchewan Lotteries Community Grant and the Lloydminster Tobacco Reduction Grant programs. Seniors Taxi Program

The Seniors Taxi Program assists Lloydminster seniors (65+) with transportation costs through the provision of vouchers that can be purchased for $5 and exchanged with local taxi providers for one-way, non-stop, transit within city limits.
