#i Pinky Swear
How do you get a group of people together to educate about the dangers of distracted driving? You offer them a great line- up of music! And this is exactly what Linda ‘Pinky’ Brown of the I Pinky Swear Campaign, along with her Sponsor Lindsay Dodge Chrysler decided to do this summer! Linda, the survivor of a severe motorcycle accident involving a distracted driver is passionate about two things: music and educating others about the dangers of distracted driving. In 2015, as Linda lay in a hospital bed recovering from her injuries, she chose to put a positive spin on an unfortunate situation. While in the hospital, overcoming her injuries, Linda founded the “Don’t Drive Distracted - I Pinky Swear” Campaign. With the help of family, friends and the community she continues to educate about the dangers of distracted driving in hopes that others will not know the pain of such a traumatic event. As the major sponsor of the campaign, Lindsay Dodge Chrysler has pledged to include a donation to this incredible cause with every vehicle sold! Join Pinky, the Lindsay Dodge team, Lindsay and District Chamber of Commerce and the Kawartha Lakes Parks and Recreation Division as we celebrate summer, music and awareness!
