Birthday Party Packages


Details Choose your birthday activity options by browsing the following pages. Parties include: One hour in a multi-purpose room Staff facilitator One hour of a recreational activity of your choice Up to 20 children (additional attendees: $5.00 per child) Downloadable party invitations Party organizers (parent/guardian) are welcome to bring food, snacks, cake etc. for the party.

How to Book: Please fill out a Birthday Party Request Form at orillia.ca/parties and submit to birthday@orillia.ca. Our Birthday Party Coordinator will contact you to organize all the details of your party. After the party is booked, a booking contract, participant waivers, payment information and party invitation will be emailed to the party organizer. Full payment and signed contract are due immediately upon booking.

Kinder Gym Party

Perfect for those preschoolers who love to play! Enjoy a safe and stimulating party in our preschool room with access to the gymnasium. Preschool equipment such as obstacle courses, balls, parachute, bouncy balls, etc. will be available.

Open Swim Party

All Ages

Splash, slide, and dive into swimming fun! All parties must adhere to the swim admission policy and will participate in a scheduled Open Swim. For the Swim Admission Policy and requirements visit orillia.ca/swimming.

Regardless of age, anyone may be asked to perform a swim test. If unsuccessful, they must remain in the shallow end.

Public Skate Party

From beginners to experts, this activity is great for both small and large groups. Available September through April. Participants must follow all public skating rules while participating in a scheduled public skate. Helmets are strongly recommended.

Ages: 5Y+

Rock Wall Party If your kiddo loves climbing or bouldering, a rock climbing birthday party may be just the thing! All participants must wear closed-toe shoes and have a parent/guardian sign a waiver on their behalf.

FAQs How far in advance do I need to book my party? All birthday parties must be booked a minimum of two weeks in advance. We recommend booking as soon as possible to help ensure availability. How do I book a party?

for the duration of your party. Our staff is on-site to help facilitate the party but is NOT part of the ratio of your party and the ultimate responsibility for the party guests remains with the party organizer. What time can I get into the room for set up? You are permitted to arive 15 minutes prior to the start of your party. Our staff will be responsible for set up and take down of your party. Only painters tape can be used to hang decorations and items are not permitted to be taped on windows.

What food options are available?

All Swim Parties are during a scheduled Open Swim. Depending on capacities parties may not have access to both pools at the same time. Do I have to stay at the party, or can I drop the kids off and leave? We require one adult (18 years or older) for every ten (10) participants to stay for the duration of the party unless booking an Open Swim Party in which case the Swim Admission Policy must be adhered to. Additional parents are welcome to stay

The Facilitator will set up the tables and chairs, take out and put back all equipment, and take down and clean up after your birthday party. The party organizer is the host of these events. Our staff is on-site to help facilitate the party but the ultimate responsibility for the party guests remains with the party organizer.

Party organizers are responsible for providing their own refreshments and are welcome to bring in food, snacks, cake, drinks etc. for guests. What is your refund/cancellation policy? In the event of cancellation, a minimum of two week’s notice must be given to be issued a refund minus a $25.00 administration fee. What is the Swim Admission Policy? Please review the policy on the following page.


Swim Admission Policy All children 9 years and under must be accompanied by a guardian who is at least 14 years of age and is responsible for their direct supervision. Swim Test: 25m continuous swim, face in the water and tread water for 1 minute.

Children 0-6Y Must have a supervising guardian in the water within arm’s reach and remain in the shallow end. Children 6Y and under without lifejackets:

1 guardian per 4 children (max)

Children 7-9Y All children 7-9Y must perform a swim test. If unsuccessful, they must have a supervising guardian in the water within arm’s reach and remain in the shallow end. With a Successful Swim Test: Children will have access to the deep end with their swim test wrist band. A supervising guardian must be in the pool or in the on-deck viewing area. Children 7-9Y without lifejackets:
