Veterans’ ceremony – Battle of Great Britain A ceremony will be held at Laurie-J.-Cormier Park beginning at 1:30 p.m. to commemorate the Battle of Great Britain and to honour the efforts of the air forces during the Second World War. Wool Sock Walk BoFM and CJSE Radio employees, as well as members of the P.R.O. Kids committee and their friends, will don wool socks and walk 10,000 steps along the streets of Dieppe and Memramcook. The event’s goal is to raise more than $15,000, with the Dieppe Co-Op matching the amount raised. The funds will be used to pay for registrations for youth taking part in sport, recreation and cultural activities in Dieppe and Memramcook. Info: 877.5022 or prokids@dieppe.ca

Remembrance Day The veterans’ parade will form at École AnnaMalenfant at approximately 10:45 a.m. and proceed inside for the ceremony to honour the signing of the armistice that ended the First World War in 1918. Seniors in Motion - Zumba Gold A mix of physical activities and dance accompanied by Latin and international music beginning at 10 a.m. at the Dieppe Arts and Culture Centre.
