One hoot, another The owl comes nearer, now… Let us call for it Chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp Crickets chirp their nightly song While the moon shines bright

The bright light is on Human footsteps thump closer A night raccoon flees

Frogs near the blue pond Frogs sitting on lily pads Frogs are everywhere

White Have you ever heard the term? “ As white as snow.” You could say that for a snowy owl how do you think it got its name? Your eyes must be those of an eagle to spot the snowiest against the snow. They are giant snowflakes falling up instead of down. They soar at night, but that is their way. You will never see a black snowy owl just as never black snow. Their scientific name is Nyctea Scandiaca. But that is not necessary to know. To hide from predators Is the advantage To be as white as snow.

Silver Silver, a streak flies from the blue. A dolphin squeaks, her slender shape rises and drops into the sea. A silver moon shines bright controlling the crashing, thundering waves. Silver shines a husky’s coat his green eyes so startling. The glossy fur, tempting waiting for a pat or stroke. Silver on the Great Gray’s when the moon shines on their feathers. As they take powerful strokes.. Swoosh.... Swoosh... Swoosh.

I AM I am a brave and powerful lion I wonder if any one bears more power than me I hear the rustle of the grass lands I see utter respect from other lions I want to be prepared for every event I am a brave and powerful lion I pretend that man is not a threat I feel grateful for every single piece of prey I touch the golden light of the sun I worry that man will destroy my pride ( A pride is a pack of lions) I cry for my lost mother killed by man I am a brave and powerful lion I understand the disasters of sickness I say to be grateful for everything I dream to take revenge on man for killing my mother I try to support the pride the best I can I hope to drive man out forever I am a brave and powerful lion

Seals Seals have to be aware And be careful witch breathing hole they choose Or they’ll be eaten by a bear They give birth to their young on icy banks Some are endangered, but at the zoo they’re given lots of care

DINOSAURS Polar Bears Polar bears are big and white They shelter in homes of ice To keep warm they snuggle tight Eating seals, and catching fish They stare at the stars all night

Dinosaurs roar Some of them soar But dinosaurs aren’t here any more. T. Rex ripping into flesh For that food, he aren’t charged any cesh If he lived now, we’d all be mesh. Pteranadon so high soar You can’t see him anymore Yeah sure, he’s a model in store But ptreanadon aren’t here any more Diplodocus, that means Double Beam Where he got that name, I won’t dream Extinct is what he seem. Dinosaurs used to roar Some of them used to soar But now they are fossils in the Earth’s core!
