The Asociacion Hadas Caradas (The Food Fairies) recently held their yearly charity event to make sure underprivileged children enjoy a fabulous Christmas. WTC GIBRALTAR CHARITY GOLF DAY RAISES TEERIFIC AMOUNT FOR TWO CHARITIES

A record amount of money was raised at this year’s World Trade Centre (WTC) Gibraltar Charity Golf Day at the prestigious La Reserva de Sotogrande golf course. The event, now in its third year, raised £3,850 for Cancer Relief Gibraltar and Hogar Betania Spain. Some 32 players, members and guests of the World Trade Center Gibraltar, took to the course and battled for the cup. SPECSAVERS’ NAME A GUIDE DOG PUPPY COMPETITION HAS A WINNER

CALPE resident Mildred du Plessis Hickey has been crowned the winner of the Specsavers Ópticas ‘Name a Guide Dog Puppy’ Competition. The winning name, Nakoa, means ‘brave’ in Hawaiian. NAO VICTORIA DOCKS IN PUERTO BANÚS

Nao Victoria, a replica of a legendary ship that took part in the first voyage around the world from 1519 to 1522, recently docked in Puerto Banús. The voyage, led by Magallanes and Juan Sebastián El Cano, lasted three years and 14 days, with the crew sailing some 32,000 nautical miles. Renowned Architect, Alberto Campo Baeza, recently received the National Architecture Prize at San Felipe Neri in Cádiz. The prize was awarded by the Minister for Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda, Raquel Sánchez Jiménez. Campo Baeza is the winner of various international prizes, including the Heinrich Tessenow Gold Medal in Germany and the Arnold W. CUDECA REMEMBERS JOAN HUNT WITH EMOTIVE VIDEO

Cudeca Foundation's Volunteer Department recently produced its annual video to pay tribute to the work of its volunteers and to thank them for their dedication.
