WORDS BY MARISA CUTILLAS
Bodegas Cepa 21 recently held a virtual wine tasting event featuring its youngest red – Hito 2020. This Ribera del Duero tinto tempranillo is aged in French oak and boasts expressive notes with pronounced aromas and the presence of red fruits. Its flavour is well-balanced and smooth, leaving a pleasant finish in the mouth. The tasting was presided over by José Moro, President of Emilio Moro and Cepa 21 – two of Ribera del Duero’s most international wineries. The tasting session kickstarted the campaign Hito de tu Vida, featuring events taking place in a number of Spanish restaurants. i www.cepa21.com
