How to Configure the Wi-Fi Repeater Option A. Connecting with WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
1. Plug the Wi-Fi repeater into the wall socket. 2. Press the WPS button on your router for 3 seconds 3. Within a minute press the WPS button on the Blurex repeater for 5 seconds. After 20 Seconds the repeater should be linked to your router. 4. The repeaters SSID name will be your existing routers name + VAP added to it. For example: Existing Wi-Fi network name = MyNetworkName New repeater name = MyNetworkName_VAP 5. If asked to enter your 8-digit PIN, Click on Connect using a security key instead. The password is the same as your routers. NOTE: “for Mac see page 13

Option B: Connecting with web Browser
1. Plug the Wi-Fi repeater into the wall socket. 2. Connect the repeater to your PC or laptop using the included LAN cable. 3. Open any web browser and type 192.168.10.1 into the address bar. The Login Screen will appear as in the picture. Enter the User Name (ADMIN) and password (ADMIN)
4. After logging in, click “setup Wizard” (located on the left panel) select “wireless repeater Mode Station” and click ‘Next’

5. Click on ‘Repeater – One Key Setting Button
6. Select your wireless Routers SSID and click ‘Next’
7. When prompted to enter your password—Do not change any settings. Only input your routers password

8. Click “OK� to Confirm the repeater will restart 9. Wait a few seconds and you will see the status page as below. Your Wi-Fi
Repeater is ready for use. Unplug the LAN RJ-45 Cable and follow the next step for optimal placement.
If you do not see the site like above, you need to reconfigure it again NOTE: if you need to reset the Wi-Fi repeater you need to press the reset button inside the tiny hole for 10 seconds
10. Repeater placement; Since the Blurex Wi-Fi repeater takes your existing Wi-Fi signal and repeats it further, you want to place the repeater between your router and the dead spot in your home or office. Place the repeater the farthest away from your router BUT in a spot where it still gets a signal so it can repeat it. 11. Please use the following diagram as an example; 12. The repeaters SSID name will be your existing routers name + VAP added to it. For example: Existing Wifi network name = MyNetworkName New repeater name = MyNetworkName_VAP To log back into the repeater you need to first do the following; 1. Go to start Control Panel 2. Click on “View Network Status and Tasks” 3. Click on “ Change adapter Settings” located on the left hand panel 4. Right click on “local area Connection” and select “Properties” 5. Double click on “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/ IPV4)” Select the option “Use the following IP Address” Input the following into the corresponding boxes IP address = 192.168.10.20 Subnet mask 255.255.255.0 Default gateway = 192.168.10.1 Configuring in AP mode 1. Plug the Wi-Fi Repeater to a
wall socket 2. Follow process A2 to A5 3. Select “Standard Wireless Ap Mode” and click next to continue

4. Click on ‘AP – One Key Setting’ button
5. Wait a few Seconds you will see the status site like below it means your Wi-Fi repeater is ready for use
How to Connect your Computer/Laptop with the Wi-Fi repeater Adding wireless computers to the Wi-Fi Repeater 1. Log onto Computer 2. Open Connect to a network by right clicking the network icon ( the notification area

3. Choose the wireless network from the list that appears, and then click Connect 4. Type the network security key or pass phrase if you are asked to do so and then click OK. You’ll see a confirmation message when you are connected to the network.

5. To confirm that you added the computer, do the following: Open network by clicking the start button, and then clicking control panel. In the search box, type network and then under network and sharing center click view network and computer devices. You should see icons for the computer you added and for the other computers and devices that are part of the network. Note: If you don’t see icons in the network folder, then network discovery and filling sharing might be turned off. Adding a wired (Ethernet) computer to the Wi-Fi repeater. 1. Plug the computer into the Wi-Fi repeater and the turn it on. 2. To confirm that you added the computer, do the following: Open network by clicking the start button, and then clicking control panel. In the search box, type network and then under network and sharing center click view network and computer devices. You should see icons for the computer you added and for the other computers and devices that are part of the network.
Configuring via web browser Wireless base configuration Please click wireless Basic settings located at the web management interface, the following message will be displayed on your web browser. You could configure the minimum number of wireless settings for communication, such as network name (SSID) and channel. The access point can be set simply with only the minimum setting items.

Factory default and settings backup, restore You can back up all settings to this router to a file, so you can make several copied of router configuration for security reasons. To backup or restore setting, please follow the following instructions: Please click save/reload setting located at the wen management interface, the following message will be displayed on your web browser.
Save Settings
Press ‘Save….’ Button, and you’ll be prompted to download the configuration as a file, you can please save it as another file name for different versions, and keep it in a safe place
Load Settings
Press ‘Browse…’ to pick previously-saved configuration file from your computer, and then click ‘upload…’ to transfer the configuration file to the router. After the Configuration is uploaded the routers configuration will be replaced by the file you just uploaded.
Reset Settings

Firmware upgrade The system software used by this router is called firmware just like any applications on your computer, when you replace the old application with a new one; your

computer will be equipped with new functions. You can also use this firmware upgrade function to add new functions to your router, even fix the bugs of this router. Please click’ Management-> Upgrade Firmware’ located at the web management interface, then the following message will be displayed on your web browser; Click ‘Browse…’ button first, you’ll be prompted to provide file name of firmware upgrade file. Please download the latest firmware file from our website, and use it to upgrade your router.
After firmware upgrade file is selected click ’upload’ button and the router will start Firmware upgrade procedure automatically. The procedure may take several minutes, please be patient NOTE: Never interrupt the upgrade procedure by closing the web browser or physically disconnecting the router from the computer. If the firmware you uploaded is corrupt, the firmware upgrade will fail, and you may have to contact the dealer of purchase and ask for help (Warranty voids if you interrupted the upgrade procedure.) Change Management Password Default Password of the router is “admin”, and its displayed on the login prompt when accessed from the web browser. There’s a security risk if you don’t change the default password, since everyone can see it . This is very important when you have wireless function enabled.

To change password, please follow the following instructions: Please click ‘Management -> Password’ menu on the web management interface, the following message will be displayed on your web browser:
Click ‘Apply Changes ‘; if you want to keep the original password unchanged, click ‘Reset’.
Set up Wi-fi Repeater with a Mac LAN instructions: 1. Connect the repeater to your computer with the LAN cable. 2. Go to “System preferences” 3. Click on “network” 4. Go to “Ethernet” on the left panel. 5. Click “advanced” 6. Go to TCP/IP configure IPV4 and choose “manual” instead of “using DHCP”. Then continue with A3 on the instruction manual. Wireless: 1 .Connect to the repeater like any other wireless connection. 2. Try the IP address 192.168.10.1 in the address box. If that does Not work, try: 1. Going to “System preferences” 2. Clicking on “network” 3. Then click “Wireless” 4. Click “advanced” 5. Go to TCP/IP configure IPV4 and choose “manual” instead of “using DHCP”. Then continue with A3 on the instruction manual. When finished go back to System preferences and by the IPV4, change the settings back to using DHCP.
