Organic Weed Eaters In the Uplands, they have "hired" 200 goats for three days, for ecologically sustainable weed control. The goats eat the rough weeds and then turn them into "fertilizer," so (hopefully) more desirable native plants can grow. The goats will eventually be moved away from the entrance to another Uplands lot farther to the south along Fish Creek Road. Photos by Gordon MacAlpine
