WORKS OF
ADRIANA SAAVEDRA
Adriana Saavedra, b. 1990, is a contemporary figurative artist from Barcelona, currently living and working in Los Angeles. Her work is best known for bold, colorful paintings rooted in the realm of Pop Art, but with an eye for minimalist abstraction and a sense of immediacy and movement influenced by her early training as a photographer. Saavedra adds a feminist perspective to the Pop Art genre, exploring gender roles and stereotypes by breaking down symbols into minimal, neutral forms that can be observed and reflected in new ways. Saavedra’s work has been exhibited in Spain, Italy, London, Shanghai and Los Angeles.
