She assisted with the organization “Empower” which provides information on substance abuse. She also promoted a self-defence course for women. As a strong believer in the importance of her community, she has served as a director of the United Way for 11 years, as a member of the Emergency Social Services team, as a member on the board at Estevan Diversified Services, as well as on other committees.

Audrey has been a volunteer on Envision’s 24-hour abuse/sexual assault line since its inception in 1995. She has been a role model for all other volunteers. Audrey is a devoted, dedicated member of many community organizations. She is also active in her grandchildren’s many school and sporting events.

Pat’s commitment to the Estevan Relay for Life began in 2007. She encouraged youth involvement and was able to recruit at least one student to sit on each committee. As Relay for Life heads into its fifth year, Pat and her committee of youth tour the schools in Estevan and area and work with the various media to educate the public. Pat is a director for the Estevan United Way, a volunteer at the Estevan Regional Nursing Home, and at the Estevan Motor Speedway. Pat’s leadership skills and dedication are shown in her commitment not only to her community, but to her family. Pat is only a phone call away when it comes to volunteering or lending a hand.
