The Caronlab Story. Australia’s largest wax manufacturer! Manufacturing wax for over 40 years. Beauty professionals worldwide insist upon Caronlab Australia’s superior salon waxes and accessories. It is founder Lilliane Caron’s absolute dedication to therapist and client satisfaction that has seen the brand become Australia’s leading salon wax manufacturer; continually setting the salon standard to which others strive. Based in Geelong, Australia, the Caronlab brand had its beginnings in 1979, in Lilliane’s busy salon, which she owns to this day. Working long hours, Lilliane became frustrated with the expensive, inferior, difficult to use waxes on the market; so she set about formulating her own range of hard and strip waxes. Caronlab’s premier range, Smooth & Remove, was unlike anything on the market at that time. It quickly gained a reputation amongst beauty professionals, Australia wide for its advanced formulations, which made waxing easier and provided unrivaled results at a very reasonable price. It is still one of Caronlab’s top selling lines, continuing to delight beauty therapists all over the world.
Brazilian waxing in the late nineties inspired Lilliane to create a XXX hard wax to meet the needs of beauty professionals, who she knew would be inundated with requests for Brazilian waxes. So in the year 2000, following extensive research, Australia’s No 1 selling wax ‘Brilliance’ was born. Brilliance, Caronlab Australia’s signature wax, is a unique hypo allergenic XXX white wax with a creamy texture. Using Tea Tree Oil to remove wax residue as well as to soothe & condition the skin. Unlike paraffin or vegetable based oils, this formula absorbs easily into the skin leaving a non-greasy feel.
Takes the hard work out of removing sticky wax residue from salon equipment. A concentrated natural product with a pleasant citrus fragrance that is excellent for cleaning wax pots, utensils and equipment. This economical cleaning solution removes wax residue quickly and easily.

Key Ingredient Glossary
*Hydrocarbon Resin or Polycyclopentadiene is the base ingredient for synthetic waxes. Synthetic rosin is made from ingredients derived from the processing and refining of oils. It is 100% odour-less and colour-less. Due to the fact that this rosin is mineral based and man-made it is consistent in all seasons and temperatures and tends to be more elastic and pliable than organic waxes.. Synthetic resins can be much safer, more consistent in production batch to batch and easier for the therapist to work with. Synthetic waxes All resins used by Caronlab Australia are filtered to five microns. Find this in: Brilliance, Strawberry Crème, Browvado, Braziliant and Viva Azure. *Colophonium is derived from the sap of trees and is the base ingredient for organic waxes. This naturally occurring
resin has been modified, filtered and purified to make it suitable for use on all skin types. All resins used by Caronlab Australia are filtered to five microns. Find this in: Pure Olive Oil. *Titanium Dioxide maintains grip for fine hairs but releases more easily from the skin therefore reducing redness and irritation. Wax clings to hair rather than the skin. Designed for the most delicate and sensitive areas of the face and body ideal for Brazilian waxing. Find this in: Brilliance, Strawberry Crème and Quick Dry Wax Mist. *Mica is a form of *Titanium Dioxide and therefore assists in reducing redness and irritation. It also creates a beautiful shimmery effect. Find this in: Quick Dry Wax Mist, Browvado and Viva Azure.
