On the Wall: How Baltic storms will light up downtown Toronto

Messages are held in the tumultuous waters of the Baltic Sea. The fishermen and sailors know it. All those who have crossed this body of water know it. Scientists have analyzed its conditions.

And now, two artists have deciphered those messages with the plan that, soon, they will be shared as waves of light in an art installation in Toronto, Canada.

As Kärt Ojavee and Johanna Ulfsak – the creators of this project – showed in their artists’ talk and demonstration at Artscape Daniels Launchpad on the evening of April 11th, the steps leading up to materializing this project have stretched over many years.
