Emporia State’s beautiful campus is buzzing (get it?) with activity. Getting involved is the stuff memories (and future job offers) are made of. Our alums do cool stuff. Jeremy Rusco, Business 2006, started Dynamic Discs while attending ESU. Now, it's the fastest growing disc golf company in the world. Impressive.
Five professional disc golf courses are within two miles of campus. Emporia also hosts the largest disc golf tournament in the world, the Glass Blown Open.

Emporia State’s flat-rate tuition for full-time on-campus students is one of the best values in the region. In fact, Hornets graduate with less student debt than any other public university in Kansas. Emporia State extends in-state tuition to select counties in Missouri and Oklahoma (Corky Plus). Additionally, students living in states surrounding Kansas (NEARR) and in states participating in the Midwest Student Exchange Program (MSEP) save almost 55% off non-resident tuition rates. All other students qualify for the $5,000 renewable Sunflower Scholarship.
