NETA LIFE

The workshops at NETA Training are not like any classroom you have been in before. We replicate the industrial environment to help get you ready for the real demands of working life.

You will learn using large-scale equipment and that means applying the professional behaviours and health and safety standards you would find on any industrial site.

At NETA the latest technology sits alongside some of the more traditional equipment, as we prepare you for working life in your chosen trade.

Our objective is to give you the best possible chance of gaining meaningful employment and thrive in your future career.

TUTORIALS

At NETA you will take part in regular tutorials alongside your course. This is a chance to catch up with your tutor, keep track of your progress and get the support you need to plan your next steps.

ENRICHMENT

Being a student is about learning new skills, meeting new friends and building great memories. That’s why, alongside your course, you will get the chance to take part in trips, activities and events.

WORK WISE WEEK

During the academic year we run Work Wise Week which is a full week jam packed with activities to help get you ready for the world of work! We have employer talks where we invite industry experts in to chat about business opportunities, site visits with local companies, CV writing workshops, team building activities and much more.

ARMY CAMP

Forget Celebrity SAS, when it comes to testing their stamina and team building skills, NETA students are among the best. Travelling to the Albemarle Barracks in Northumberland, our students have the opportunity to take on challenges designed to test both their physical and lateral thinking skills.

Offering an insight into life and careers in the armed forces our students get to try their hands at pontoon bridge building, puzzle solving and physical training.

CAREER READY LOGISTICS ACADEMY

Are you aware of the career opportunities that exist in the logistics industry? As part of our Logistics Academy, run in partnership with Career Ready and Stockton Riverside College, we work with employers to help raise awareness of logistics and encourage students to recognise the industry as a viable career option. The programme offers you the chance to take part in master classes, site visits and work with a mentor alongside your full-time study programme. Logistics Academy students will also carry out a placement or internship. Want to get involved? Ask us for more details!
