You need:

Functional Skills Maths and English Level 1 or equivalent.

SECOND YEARS AND RETURNING STUDENTS

If you have already achieved a subsidiary or part completed diploma, even at a different training provider, you can apply to continue with your second year of study at NETA (subject to proof of prior qualifications).

Starting in September we will be offering the following courses to allow you to progress and gain your BTEC Diploma or Extended Diploma.

Level 3 VRQ Extended Diploma in Engineering Technologies in the following disciplines:

Mechanical Fabrication/Welding Electrical

Level 3 BTEC Diploma in Engineering Technologies in the following disciplines:

Mechanical Electrical

In all of the above we will be choosing unit options that compliment what you have studied in your first year in order to realise your potential and to increase your chances of securing an apprenticeship or employment.
