THE PRINCE’S TRUST
Prince’s Trust courses offer you flexible and supported courses to help you achieve your goals. Enrolling on one of our Prince’s Trust courses can open up a range of new options for you. You will build your confidence and make new friends while gaining the skills that employers are looking for as well as having lots of fun and gaining a nationally recognised qualification. The courses are available from entry level 3 through to level 2.
PRINCE’S TRUST ACHIEVE STUDY PROGRAMME
1 YEAR
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
If you are unsure what you would like to study or would like to develop your confidence and employability skills, this study programme could be perfect for you. This course will cover topics such as enterprise, customer service, money management, career planning, presentation skills and healthy and active lifestyles. You will also study English and maths Functional Skills or GCSE and undertake work related experience which will provide you with valuable skills and knowledge in a real working environment.
WHAT GRADES DO I NEED?
There are no formal entry requirements for this course however you must be aged 16-19.
WHAT’S NEXT?
You could move on to further study, and apprenticeship or enter employment. Our Prince’s Trust courses focus on helping you move on in life, so whatever you want to do staff will help guide you as you plan your next steps.
PRINCE’S TRUST TEAM PROGRAMME
12 WEEKS
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
This 12-week course offers you the opportunity to get involved in an actionpacked residential, a rewarding community project, an informative work placement, a fun team challenge and more. You will be supported throughout the programme by a dedicated team leader. This course is completely free, all travel expenses are refunded, and existing benefits will not be affected. You will gain a Prince’s Trust Certificate at Entry Level 3, Level 1 or Level 2 in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills.
WHAT GRADES DO I NEED?
There are no formal entry requirements for this course, however, you must be aged 16-25 and not currently in education, training or employment.
WHAT’S NEXT?
83% of young people completing Prince’s Trust courses with us move on to positive destinations in further education, training or employment.
