Hey there! I'm Jong Wook Kim - Ethan. I will be working as a Fullstack Developer in Reader Team, Copenhagen.
Background Grew up in Pohang, South Korea till graduation (2018). Served in Military for 1 and 9 months 1 yr exchange in Indiana, USA 0.5 yr internship in Michigan, USA Moved to Seoul with a job Worked in Samsung SDS as SW engineer for 4 years mostly on SI field with 7~8 projects.
Why Issuu?
I always wanted to live traveling, working. After coming back from the states, I realized how much being abroad developed myself to a better person with bigger perspective, and I wanted to improve myself more.
After 4 years at Samsung I felt it was time for a change. I was looking for a place that would give me greater flexibility and would encourage me to further develop my skills.
As I was searching for job opportunities overseas, I found ISSUU with the perfect job description that I was looking for. So I applied, and as the interviews go – 5 interviews – the company really grew on me, I can feel that they care for their employees as human beings. Thanks to all the interviewers, I decided to move to Copenhagen!
