11:30am-1:00pm: iVIE Elementary School Student Film Festival (Grades K-5). Screening the “best of” submitted to the 2017 iVIE by San Diego County elementary school students. Hosted by Ethan Cole (933FM). Nominees will be presented with certificates & take the stage! Running time: 90 min. 1:00-4:00pm: “Creative Careers Expo“ (booths w/ local colleges, film companies, other creative industries represented). Mingle with fellow student filmmakers from across the County of San Diego, learn about careers, live entertainment, meet professional filmmakers, live demonstrations and more! 1:40-3:00pm: iVIE Middle School Student Film Festival (Grades 6-8). Screening the “best of” submitted to the 2017 iVIE by San Diego County middle school students. Hosted by Ethan Cole (933FM). Nominees will be presented with certificates & take the stage! Running time: 87 min. 3:40-5:10pm: iVIE High School Student Film Festival (Grades 9-12). Screening the “best of” submitted to the 2017 iVIE by San Diego County high school students Hosted by Ethan Cole (933FM). Nominees will be presented with certificates & take the stage! Running time: 87 min. 4:45-5:45pm: “Red Carpet Photo Opps” & Filmmaker Tent Reception. Ethan Cole from 933FM to interview student filmmakers on red carpet. 6:00-7:30pm: 2017 iVIE Awards Ceremony. Join us as we celebrate the best student filmmakers from throughout San Diego County. Enjoy clips of all the nominees, special guest host, Luis Cruz, from SD Union Tribune, live entertainment, presentation of awards in each category, and prizes from Sony Corporation!
