During the past decade in Brazil, large numbers of Black youth known as “rolezinhos”, many from the “favelas,” occupied downtown shopping malls and exposed the structural racism crystallized in these symbols

and utilizing rich archival material, the film takes an activist stance in addressing Brazil’s everyday abysmal social and racial inequalities. Content warning: some strong language and scenes of police brutality.

Clarita’s love of learning is voracious; she’s practically memorized all the workshop lessons! Her dedication towards science earns her a special trip, where her endless curiosity fuels a fantastic learning adventure to different astronomical sites across Argentina.
