Provincial Minister Health and Secretary Primary and secondary healthcare department, Punjab in the 3rd meeting finalized and notified the Guidelines & SOPs of home isolation, home quarantine and disinfection.

Technical Working Group (TWG) meeting in Punjab discussed the surveillance and information system of reporting through multiple channels as the reason for the delay of information flow. It was decided to devise one reporting channel for surveillance in the province

University of Health Sciences Lahore, Punjab arranged 3rd Batch of a training session on COVID-19 case management guidelines through e-learning link for General Practitioners. The Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination has established a helpline number (1166), an online coronavirus platform and a chatbot to respond to public concerns and clarifications for misinformation regarding COVID-19. WHO continues to support the helpline. In KP 1700 has been established as helpline.

593 samples have been taken from Taftan border and dispatched to Public Health Laboratory, Fatima Jinnah Hospital Quetta for lab diagnosis. 285 travelers from KPK, Sindh and Punjab province were sent back to their respective provinces after tested negative After completion of 14 days in quarantine and negative lab tests results 27 travelers released from Rural development authority (RDA) quarantine facility Quetta On the directives of Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, a COVID-19 investigation team visited district Mardan and conducted contact tracing and sampling from the relatives of positive cases and from symptomatic cases in the union council. A random sampling for community transmission was also conducted from other union councils of district Mardan.
