Control Room Health Dept Govt. of Balochistan operational 24/7 for any kind of information & coordination regarding COVID-19 activities in Balochistan. 081-9202080, 1166. Today one Female patient, 45 years old, expired due to COVID-19 at Fatima Jinnah Chest and General hospital - Quetta. The deaths increased to 05. The rationale of earlier 04 deaths (01 from Pishin) reported of Positive COVID-19 were primarily due comorbidity of renal failure and other medical complications. The numbers of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Balochistan has risen to 303 with 23 new cases including overall 05 death (CFR 1.62). The active cases are 156 in province. 0ut of 303, 162 cases are local transmission from Quetta (129), Chagai (11) Lorlai (06), Jaffarabad (09), Khuzdar (01) , Mastung (2), Kharan (02) Pishin (01) and Harnai (01). 02 positive cases from SKBZ and FC Hospital discharged after retested negative. Total recovered in Balochsitan are 142. 06 Quarantine persons released from Khuzdar tested negative after 14 days out of 20. The Malaria / VBD control Program disinfected the CM secretariat, Health department, civil secretariat, Deputy commissioner and commissioner Quetta office. The district health office with the support of WHO DSO-Sibi did screening of 14 Tablighe Jamait Persons having Travelling History from Hangu KP.

The District RRT cascade training session conducted at EPI HQ Quetta; total 28 participants attended the training session. RRT facilitated the District Pishin RRT for contact tracing of positive case. RRT continued the Repeat tests of COVID-19 positive cases at Quetta Districts. Provincial RRT and Operational Cell lead visited CM COVID_19 Operational cell and discussed the COVID-19 prevention protocols and contact tracing. RRT Provincial screened and took 15 lab samples from CM Secretariat COVID-19 suspected officials. Provincial RRT complied the Home isolated/Quarantine, Contact tracing and air travellers contact data for operational Cell. DistrictT Quetta screened 473 suspects and took 30 lab samples.
