CLINTON SPEAKS ON U.S.ASIA RELATIONS AT USNA Secretary of State Hillary Clinton delivered spoke on U.S. strategy in the Asia-Pacific during the Forrestal Lecture at the Naval Academy April 10 as part of the Naval Academy Foreign Affairs Conference. During her speech, Clinton said the U.S. is working to build multinational alliances and partnerships with Asia-Pacific countries. She noted the work already done by men and women in uniform to forge relationships in that region. Military members “made a difference in the lives of those people in the Japanese community rescued from the flood waters, or to the Singaporean sea captain protected from pirates, or the Korean family shielded from aggression,” the secretary said. > > C S PA N
