Blessing of the Easter baskets On the Holy Saturday decorative baskets with food are prepared to be blessed at church.They include eggs, a lamb made out of sugar symbolising the sacrifice of Christ, as well as bread, salt, cold meat, horseradish and a traditional cake. Blessed food is eaten the next day, on Sunday, during the Easter breakfast.

Traditional food This special day we start with food blessed the day before.We serve sour soup, white sausages, vegetable salad, eggs made in different ways, poppy seed cake, cheesecake and of course Easter cake.
Easter Monday Ĺšmingus-Dyngus
Wet Monday is celebrated on the second day of Easter. On this day, people splash others with water: both relatives and strangers. Girls that were soaked on this day increased their chances of getting married.
Easter Bunny
Every child is looking forward for this day ,especially due to present from Easter Bunny.They usually get something sweet.
