Our school is cool Primary School nr 22 in Włocławek (Poland)
The school tuck shop We can buy sandwiches and snacks here. The food is healthy and unhealthy. The shop assistant is very nice friendly and helpful. Sometimes there is a long queue during the break Prices are not high. Everything is fresh. (by Iwo & Michał)
Computer room This is our computer room, which is very modern. There are 16 computers. They work very well. There is an interactive whiteboard on the wall. We come here for eTwinning lessons. We have two classes like this. (by Eryk & Kuba)
School court
It is our school court for playing football. We play hear during PE lessons but children from the neighborhood can play football as well.
The hall This is our school hall. It’s the biggest hall in our school. In a break time there are a lot of students from different classes. The students like sitting and talking to each other. At Christmas time the hall is very beautifully decorated. Sometimes the students sell their handmade cakes because they collect money for charity there. There is the patron’s corner to honour of Janusz Korczak.
The gym
This is the gym. We have PE lessons here. It is big we play here basketball and volleyball. It can be crowded sometimes when two classes have lessons together.
The classroom for younger children
In this class they play and learn. Sometimes they watch ďŹ lms and they do art works. In this class, there are a lot of colours, toys and decorations. In this class, there is a rug and you can sit there. This class is very cosy and colorful. (by Lena & Magda)
The school canteen This is our school canteen. We eat our lunch here. The canteen is popular with the students. There are long queues during lunch time. The dishes are very delicious and healthy. The students are very satiated. We are happy that we have the canteen in our school.
The nurse’s room This is our school nurse’s room. When you’re injured you can go to the school nurse. Our school nurse is very nice and helpful. Students go here when they have headache or stomach ache. (by Iwo and Michał)
The classrooms We have classrooms for geography, maths, chemistry, English. These classes are very big , well-equipped and good for learning. (by Lena & Magda)
The cloakroom
The students hang here their jackets, dress up shoes and wait for lessons. The cloakroom is old-fashioned, but the school is planning to make it more modern so each student will have their lockers.
The library In our school we have the library. We can borrow books. We read a lot of books. It is very quiet in the library. The librarians are very helpful, if you don’t know what to read they often recommend a perfect book for you.
The reading room
In the reading room we can read a lot of books and magazines. We can do our homework there In our reading room, there are four computers on the desks.
