Nicht ohne Grund nennt sich das ca. 30 km lange Raurisertal auch das goldene Tal der Alpen. Es liegt 80 km südlich von Salzburg in Österreich und beeindruckt mit der einzigartigen Panoramaaussicht auf die ca. 3.000 Meter hohen Goldberge.
Not without reason, the 30 km long Raurisertal is also called the golden valley in the Alps. It is located 80 km south of Salzburg in Austria and impresses with the unique panorama on the 3000-meter high so called Goldberge, which means „mountains of gold“.
Wie es der Name schon sagt, sind die Goldberge und auch das Raurisertal sehr bekannt für den Goldbergbau, der im 15. und 16. Jahrhundert seine Blütezeit hatte. Bis heute versuchen noch zahlreiche Touristen ihr Glück und machen sich auf die Goldsuche in den Tälern und Flüssen der Goldberge.
As the name implies, the Goldberge and also the Raurisertal are well known for gold mining, which achieved its heyday in the 15th and 16th century. Even today many tourists try their luck and set out to search for gold in the valleys and rivers of the Goldberge.
Im Sommer bietet das umfangreiche Tourennetz sowohl für Wanderer als auch für Radfahrer bzw. Mountainbiker viele Möglichkeiten, die wunderschöne Umgebung des Nationalparks Hohe Tauern mit zahlreichen urigen Almhütten und wilden Gebirgsbächen zu erkunden.
In summer the huge network of tours invites with its many opportunities to hike, cycle, mountainbike and explore the national park Hohe Tauern with its numerous rustic mountain huts, wild mountain streams and beautiful surroundings of the national park.
Und natürlich ist das Raurisertal auch im Winter ein idealer Urlaubsort. Das Skigebiet Rauriser Hochalmbahnen bietet mit seinen vielfältigen Pisten für jeden Skifahrer, und Snowboarder ein aufregendes Pistenerlebnis. Für die etwas weniger begeisterten Skifahrer verspricht das Raurisertal unverspurte, weiße Winterlandschaften im Nationalpark, welche sich wunderbar mit Schneeschuhen und Tourenskiern erkunden lassen.
Even in winter the Raurisertal offers a perfect vacation. The ski resort Rauris presents varied slopes for skiers and snowboarders for an unforgettable skiing experience. For the slightly less enthusiastic skiers the Raurisertal promises untracked white winter landscapes, away from the ski-slopes in the national park, which can be explored wonderfully with snowshoes and touring skis.

Das Goldberge Resort Rauris ist ein traditionelles österreichisches Dorf mit entsprechender Architektur, die sich optimal in das wunderschöne Raurisertal einfügt. Die 46 Chalets-Häuser, mit Holzfassaden und Holzbalkonen unterstreichen den alpinen Charakter und bieten jeweils Platz für bis zu 6 Personen. Trotz der traditionellen Ziegel-Bauweise sind die Häuser und Apartments mit modernster Technik ausgestattet und hochwertig isoliert. Sie besitzen alle eine moderne Wärmepumpenheizung und auch auf eine hochwertige Ausstattung im Bereich Bad und Wohnbereich wird wertgelegt. Die Häuser werden „löffelfertig“ ausgestattet, d.h. nicht nur die hochwertigen Möbel und Küchengeräte sind bereits eingebaut, sondern auch ein umfangreiches Sortiment an Besteck, Geschirr und Küchenutensilien sind vorhanden. Somit steht einem vergnüglichen Urlaub mit Familie und Freunden nichts mehr im Wege. Die ruhige Lage der Chalets - welche nur wenige Minuten von der Skipiste und vom Ortszentrum entfernt sind - ist für Skifahrer im Winter sowie für Wanderer im Sommer ein erstklassiger Ausgangsort, um die atemberaubende Bergwelt der Hohen Tauern aus nächster Nähe zu erleben, sowie die Natur mit allen Sinnen zu genießen.

The Goldberge Resort Rauris is a traditional Austrian village with appropriate architecture that blends perfectly with the beautiful Raurisertal. The 46 chalets-houses, with wooden balconies and facades, highlight the alpine character and offer space for up to 8 people. Despite the traditional brick-construction, the houses and apartments are equipped with the latest technology and isolated in high quality. They all have a modern heat pump with underfloor heating, bathrooms and are fitted out with high quality furniture and facilities. The houses are „ready for use“ equipped, including furniture, kitchen appliances and a wide range of cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils. This provides a great vacation with family and friends. The perfect quiet location, only a few minutes from the slopes and the village center, is for skiers in winter and hikers in summer a perfect starting point to experience the spectacular mountains of the Hohe Tauern and enjoy nature with all senses.
