up outside the gas station. escaping town to start out pumps. CLYDE is in the side in the passenger seat. turns his head to BONNIE.
CLYDE You coming in baby? She snaps at him. BONNIE Yes, obviously I’m fucking going in! Who else is going to pay for all this!? CLYDE sighs at her, steps out the car, then slams the door on her. BONNIE talks to herself from under her breath. BONNIE Slam the door on me. BONNIE steps out the car and peaks her head over the roof. BONNIE Here? CLYDE No. Not here. Besides, people don’t hold up gas stations anymore, because people get shot at gas stations. They’re expecting it, so no. Not here. BONNIE pulls a pouting face and flutters her eyelashes at CLYDE. He laughs her off. CLYDE No way. We agreed. BONNIE drops the cute act. BONNIE I ain’t working at your cousins stupid farm!

CLYDE It will only be for a few weeks, whats the problem? BONNIE sighs and pulls out a cigarette and lights it. She takes a few puffs as CLYDE continues filling up. An OLD MAN leaving from the gas station approaches BONNIE. OLD MAN Young lady do you have any idea how dangerous that is to smoke around here? BONNIE takes a deep inhale of smoke and blows it in his face. BONNIE What you gonna do? Spank me? The OLD MAN takes a step back. He’s not sure how to take BONNIE’S response, and looks back at CLYDE who just shrugs his shoulders at the ordeal. The OLD MAN shakes his head at her and walks back to his car. BONNIE drops the cigarette on the floor, crushing it with her boot. CLYDE hangs the pump back up trying to not make eye contact with the CLERK. A spotty 20-something kid wearing a ’John Deere’ baseball cap. He begins to make his way inside. BONNIE follows behind him. He yells over his shoulder at her. CLYDE Get back in the car! BONNIE yells back at him. BONNIE I’m going with you! CLYDE stops in his tracks and turns toward her. He’s angry she’s ignoring him and making such a scene. CLYDE Stay in the car! BONNIE I’m going inside for a piss! A girl can go for a piss can’t she?! CLYDE bites his tongue and makes his way inside. BONNIE grins like she’s just won the lottery then folows behind him.

INT. GAS STATION. NIGHT BONNIE and CLYDE head inside. A television next to the counter is playing with a wanted news report for them both. CLYDE is cautious not to make his presence known. Trying to subtly hide away his face. BONNIE is confidently walking at his side. Picking up any snacks they want for the journey they have ahead. They head over to the counter. CLYDE is still trying to make little to no eye contact with the CLERK who is reading a porn magazine at the counter. He carefully places the products down. CLYDE I’ll have a pack of smokes as well there, sport. The CLERK doesn’t acknowledge CLYDE at first. He just chews on his gum flicking through pages. BONNIE is pissed off the CLERK is ignoring them. BONNIE tries again to get the CLERKS attention. CLYDE Excuse me? Suddenly BONNIE pulls a snub nose revolver tucked in her jeans. She yells at the CLERK. BONNIE Alright, now you listen to us! CLYDE and the CLERK are both stunned as to what she’s doing. the CLERK backs up and stares at her like a dear in headlights. He doesn’t know how to react. CLYDE turns to her. CLYDE What the fuck are you doing!? We agreed! No more hold ups! BONNIE turns to CLYDE. BONNIE This isn’t a hold up! We wanna pay. But this kid isn’t fucking listening to us! The CLERK is frozen with his hands up in the air. CLERK Alright, Just take it!

CLYDE raises his hands up to both BONNIE and the CLERK trying to calm the situation. CLYDE No! We’re not taking shit! CLYDE places down a blood stained twenty pound note. CLYDE We’re going to pay. And we’re going to leave! CLYDE looks back to BONNIE. CLYDE Just put the gun down. BONNIE ignores CLYDE. She knows what she’s doing. She continues to scream at the CLERK. BONNIE Oh what. Like you’re going to listen to us when we put down the gun!? They can’t just walk away from it. CLYDE yells at BONNIE. He’s annoyed this is what they have to result in to be noticed. CLYDE BABY! YOU’RE REALLY STARTING TO PISS ME OFF! BONNIE yells back BONNIE DON’T YELL AT ME! A car door is heard slamming shut from outside and the sound of the pumps being used can be heard outside. All three of them stand still as statues. None of them know how exactly this is going to end. BONNIE and CLYDE look over to the entrace, then back at eachother then back at the CLERK. CLYDE points BONNIE at the back door behind the counter. CLYDE Through there.

They both jump over the counter, CLYDE grabs the CLERK by the colar while BONNIE opens the door for them, CLYDE shoves the CLERK into the door way and they both step in closing the door behind them. A MAN walks in and goes straight to the counter. He waits to be served. Shortly CLYDE comes out wearing the CLERK’S work jacket. He puts on an act, pretending to be working for the gas station. CLYDE Hey, sorry about the wait. A backpack is thrown at CLYDE. The MAN is stood with a mask and a tight grip on a hammer. He yells at CLYDE. MAN PUT THE MONEY IN THE FUCKING BAG! CLYDE stands shocked by whats happening. He slowly lowers the bag a little, and with the other hand reaches for his pistol tucked in his trousers behind his back. He tries to reason with the MAN. He doesn’t want him to get hurt. He just wants him to go away so he and BONNIE can leave without a bloodshed. CLYDE Alright, just be cool. The MAN is having none of it. He continues to yell. Raising the hammer in a threatening manner. MAN JUST GIVE ME THE FUCKING MONEY! CUT TO: INT. BACK ROOM. NIGHT BONNIE hears whats happing out front, She rolls her eyes then leaves the building through the back door of the gas station. CUT TO:

INT. GAS STATION. NIGHT CLYDE can see from the MANS nervous behavior he is new to hold ups. He tries to get the MAN to look up at the news report mug shots. CLYDE Just look up at the TV.... The MAN ignores CLYDE. MAN I’M NOT FUCKING AROUND! OPEN THE REGISTER BEFORE I EMPTY IT WITH YOUR FUCKING SKULL! Suddenly CLYDE grabs him forward shoving his pistol under the MANS chin. CLYDE Look! I’m trying to help you! Just look up at the goddamn TV... The MAN looks at the TVs news report. CLYDE and BONNIE’s mug shots are up big on the screen. The MAN has a glimpse of realisation he he’s been trying to rob from. CLYDE stares at the MAN waiting for a reaction. The MAN stands frozen with his hammer still up high. He lowers his hammer to his side. CLYDE releases his grip he has on the MAN letting him go. He calmly tells the CLERK to walk away from this. CLYDE Just walk away... Still with his pistol aimed as the MAN takes a slow step back, BONNIE quietly comes through the front entrance of the gas station. She sneakily creeps up behind the MAN without being noticed as CLYDE tries not to draw attention to her. She stands just a few inches behind and begins to raise her revolver to the back of his head. CLYDE yells at her. CLYDE BONNIE! STOP! Startled by whos behind him, the MAN takes a swing backward for BONNIE with his hammer. CLYDE reacts in a split second and takes a shot.... (CONTINUED)

CLYDE is stood with his pistol aimed forward. As he lowers it BONNIE opens her eyes and looks down at the MANS dieing body. Then looks back at CLYDE. Yelling at him. BONNIE FUCK! You could have shot me, baby! Blood is pouring from the MANS neck and he’s chocking on his blood. CLYDE lowers his pistol. CLYDE That’s why you don’t hold up gas stations. Because you get shot. Still being shook up after nearly being shot in the face by CLYDE, BONNIE sniggers at his comment. CLYDE goes around the counter, steping over the MANS body leaving the scene with his arm around BONNIE. As they leave the station, CLYDE returns, stepping back over the MANS body to get to the counter. He picks up the twenty pound note he puts down, then leans over the cash register, opening it up and taking out the contents. EXT.GAS STATION.NIGHT CLYDE steps back in the car with a brown paper bag full of snacks. He passes it over to BONNIE who is already in the car waiting for him. He starts the engine, driving off into the distance as the sound of police sirens approach the scene. THE END
