Create zones and seating areas with this colourful series of furniture The Cocoon furniture series consists of modular components in varying sizes and functions. The modules can be combined in various ways, so the function of the furniture depends on the combination and the position of the modules FORM FOLLOWS FUNCTION. The modules have been designed to be used either vertically or horizontally. Vertically, the Cocoon functions as seating and is available in two different heights and two seating heights. It can either be integrated into the shelving system or be a freestanding piece of furniture.
Positioned horizontally, the module functions as an individual piece of furniture, that can be used for both display and storage as well as a small play area for children. Place two horizontal Cocoons next to each other to create a larger display area or cave/play area.

The individual smaller modules are available as either seating, table or browser. The module with the curve upwards functions as a small moveable seat. With the curve downwards, the module is available as either a moveable browser or a table.
The modules have the same design layout, but still offer you the possibility of personalizing the furniture with graphics and colours to fit your library The Cocoon series is delivered in standard in white (RAL9016) melamine coated particle board. The interior is available as standard in five different bright and rich colours of 3 mm felt, but is also available in other colours upon request. Mango - 20

Use the horizontal Cocoon to display the newest books or create a hiding place for the younger readers. Both ends have shelves (D250 & 300 cm) for storage and display. Available in two widths. H970 x W2050/2250 x D540 mm.
The Vertical Cocoon can be used as both a freestanding piece of furniture, a room divider or as a seat integrated into any shelving system. Available in two heights as well as two seating heights. The Vertical Cocoon is also available with built-in Sound Shower with bluetooth connection.
A model based on the Horizontal Cocoon, this Cocoon is ideal for presenting your CD’s and DVD’s as well as creating a play area for children. Both ends have shelves (D250 & 300 mm) for storage and display. Available in two widths. H970 x W2050/2250 x D540 mm.
