GlobaLab: Promoting Active Global Citizenship among Young Europeans International Youth Exchange Dates:
About... Global Citizens Academy, Future Worlds Center, CEGA foundation and ADEL are inviting young people from Lithuania, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Slovak republic to take part in a week-long international youth exchange aiming to reinforce active global citizenship among young Europeans and make them become promoters of the fundamental values, such as solidarity, tolerance, respect for diversity, equality, justice and peace. This youth exchange .will be a space for young people, where they will be able to share their views and become aware of the realities of different communities in the context of globalization, to define their own roles in a global society, as well as to develop competencies necessary for contributing to sustainable changes in both local communities and globally.

How many participants? 28 (7 from one partner country)
To Whom? To young people who are: Aged between 18 and 29 years; Coming from the following EU countries: Lithuania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Slovak Republic; Willing to take an active civic role in the sustainable global development processes; Willing to become active and responsible global citizens.
You will become aware of global issues and their impact to local communities;
You will learn more about the global interconnections existing among countries, cultures and people;
Travel & Accommodation:
You will have an opportunity to share your own views and experiences connected with globalization and global realities in your country;
Local coordinators will take care of your travel arrangements from your home country to Lithuania.
You will gain skills which will help you to become more active in a global society;
You will have an opportunity to learn in a multi-cultural environment, meet peers from other countries and cultures;
Accommodation for you will be provided by the host partner in rooms shared by 2-3 people.
You will be awarded with the Youthpass—a European document proving what you have learnt during the exchange.
All travel and accommodation expenses of the participants will be funded by the European Commission, Erasmus+ programme.
