As we welcome in the new year, and get back into the Eurolinx swing of things, we are excited for a year of new staff, products and opportunities, whilst reminiscing about the year that was.
Maureen joined the Eurolinx family 1 month ago and has already made her mark in the Customer Care team.
Hailing from Mount Druitt, Maureen has assimilated into the team seamlessly bringing with her experience from working at DHL as a service coordinator, and Yamaha Motor Finance as a Customer Service Finance Officer.
Outside of work, Maureen loves shopping, spending time with her 3 little kittens, travelling and enjoying her new married life with her husband…awwwww!
Like all of us at Eurolinx, Maureen loves food, but her favourites are Oysters, pizza, and seafood.

Having worked at Eurolinx for a short time, previously, Nigel just couldn’t stay away and re-joined the company in November 2022.
Outside of work, Nigel enjoys beach days and family time, with his 3 kids: Isaac (14), Emily (11) and Zavier (11). To keep things even busier for him, Emily and Zavier are twins! Nigel also enjoys cooking and trying new things / techniques with recipes. Although he doesn’t have a favourite food, he likes a variety and change, especially when it comes to his food!

Kokulawarman Thevanathan is a Technical Support Officer at Eurolinx and has been with the company for 3 months now.
Koku is passionate about what he does, and has figured out one of the toughest achievements, and that’s getting a work life balance!!
Koku’s favourite thing to do outside of work is dabble in Crypto / Blockchain!
Annapurna Mallesh is the newest member for the spare parts team, working there for the last 2 months as a Service Administrator, Anna’s favourite thing about her job is learning new things and taking on the challenges as they come.

Bernard (Bernie) Garcia works in the Customer Service department and has already added much value to the team in the 6 months he has been with the company. Bernie enjoys teamwork, and the interaction he has with customers. But outside of work, Bernie enjoys time with his cat, and socialising with friends.

With some recent staff changes and some process changes the team are all working together with 1 goal in mind – PROVIDE THE BEST POSSIBLE AFTER SERVICE POSSIBLE!
We had some changes amongst all departments (Spares, Customer care and Workshop, Technical) new staff coming on board and we are still growing, we have a good vibe for 2023 and ready to assist, all you need to do is ask .
Recently we had Bernie, Maureen, Nigel join our team. Trish also came back a few days a week, joining forces with the Cettina and Christine. The Customer care team has a wealth of knowledge and experience within the industry. The team is trained to deal with all types of service related issues, so if you have a concern about a service issue best to send the team an email, what might be a concern to you is possibly daily routine for them.
Although customers’ expectations are getting bigger and bigger, we nearly always find the right outcome, even after all the frustration during the whole process of finding a solution. Nearly all our customers, once resolved, have thanked us for the awesome after service they have received.

Koku recently joined us in the workshop and is working together with Shamal behind the scenes to ensure we are up to date with all Service and technical support, unfortunately Bill who has been with us for a few years has retired recently, and he will be missed.

C. Renner W. AustOn 16th December, the NSW team celebrated the year that was at Casa Mia Osteria, in Newtown. The food, wine and cocktails were delicious and we think it’s safe to say everyone had a great time!
The QLD team celebrated, in true Queensland style at Bos in Brisbane. The team enjoyed the delicious food, cocktails and vibe.
The WA team didn’t have a Christmas party this year, but they did bake some Christmas goodies.
Adrian, Marie and Robert from Berloni were the first retail visitors in the new Melbourne showroom. The group were hosted by Andrea, Tina and Nathan and enjoyed a delicious slow cooked lamb complimented with seasonal vegetables and salad and they all picked at a cheese charcuterie board for dessert.
We welcomed E&S Hawthorn and Abbotsford into our new Melbourne Showroom for a dinner prepared using the Majestic cooker and OV60SLT3 Professional Plus oven. A great night was had by all.

This training session was conducted on the 20th of October, an evening training night with a menu consisting of a starter of selection of cheese and cured meats followed with House made ILVE oven Pizzas cooked at 320C mains was a 12-hour braised beef short rib lasagne and to finish salted caramel cannoli.
Specialised training on the ILVE Professional plus/ Nostalgie and Majestic cookers with a focus on professional plus inbuilt.

We hosted two ILVE training sessions at our Brisbane showroom on the 8th and 22nd of December with 8 new Winning Appliance retail sales agents in attendance along with the Winnings QLD training manager Peter Cameron.
With these two latest sessions we decided to include more activities as a way of increasing fun and engagement by including a research activity as well as a Quiz. The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive from all attendees.
A special shout out to Brittany Ashworth who stepped up and went over and above in these sessions by taking the lead in the demo kitchen. Britt’s passion for cooking and ILVE was a real shining light as she got these new recruits hands on and excited for our appliances.

To promote our suite of Fhiaba product training modules Eurolinx ran a special ‘Learn and Earn’ incentive during the month of November. The first 20 winnings retail sales agents to complete all the Fhiaba modules were awarded with a $50 gift card.
The incentive was a great success with over 50 winnings sales agents completing the Fhiaba training modules. Pictured below are some of the winners from winnings stores across Australia.

In the later part of the year, we had the pleasure of hosting professional photoshoots for 2 stunning new kitchens. The first being a renovation in Vaucluse and the second being a part of a new build in Clovelly. Here are some of our favourite images capturing our beautiful products
Three Birds Renovations started with 3 best friends of almost 20 years. In 2014, they took a leap of faith together, quit their jobs and created Three Birds Renovations in pursuit of a more fulfilling life - working for themselves, doing something they loved, and with more family time. Within a few short months of starting out they had successfully bought, renovated and sold their first property. Fast-forward to today and they have transformed 15 houses as well as other properties and amassed a generous group of followers (nearly 940k, on Instagram alone) They started out flipping houses and now they reno forever homes.
We had the pleasure of teaming up with Three Birds for House 15. Daniel, Tristan and Angela had the pleasure of attending a walk-through of the completed renovation in Mosman, and all we can say is WOW!!
The kitchen beautifully showcased our Fhiaba Integrated Refrigeration, the T29 concealed rangehood, an oyster white and brushed bronze, 4 burner and dual induction Majestic Series Cooker, a freestanding microwave as well as the IVFID10 Integrated Dishwasher.

Ben decided to take a risk and enter Masterchef Season 4, he was highly successful in the series which became a true turning point for his passion for food. The experience allowed him to refine his skills, immerse himself in food and be taught by some of the most experienced chefs in the business. Since the show, opportunities to continue working with food have been widespread with Ben appearing on national TV shows, doing guest appearances, becoming Brand Ambassador for a number of brands, and featuring as a celebrity chef on numerous occasions at different national events.
Ben went on to begin a successful media career with his TV show ‘Ben’s Menu’ airing on channel 10 for 3 seasons and being shortlisted for a Logie award in 2015. He then featured on SBS Food Network’s ‘Andy and Ben Eat Australia’, with friend Andy Allan whom he met and formed a bond with during his time on Masterchef. Most recently, Ben and his wife Sally have started their own
production company, Cultivate. With the help of 12 local Tasmanian employees, Ben has produced and delivered his own TV Show, Food Lab, that aired on Network 10 in 2017 exploring the science behind cooking. Food Lab series 2 has recently aired on the SBS Food Network, a 13 week, 65 episode series that empowers viewers to become better cooks, and better scientists.

Design Duo Alisa & Lysandra Fraser first came to the attention of the Australian public through their appearance and triumphant win on Australia’s favourite renovation TV show The Block in 2013.
Following on from this success, they founded Alisa & Lysandra Interiors in 2014, working on bespoke residential and commercial projects, and collaborating with high profile brands. In 2018 the twins produced their very first online series, The Design Duo, based on their multi-million dollar renovation in Albert Park.
The girls went with an Artusi feel for their renovations, using the following products: Roasting Dome for ABBQM, 104cm Built-In BBQ, Double Door Outdoor Refrigerator and the Single Door Bar Fridge.

Who’s little, bubbly and loud…ANDA NEWTON! Anda is leaving sunny Brisbane, and headed back to NSW, working in the Sydney office, from the start of February. Anda will be working in the upstairs office, so when you’re around, pop by and say HI!
