With its visionary approach, this brand-new expo aims to empower farmers and industry professionals by providing invaluable insights and practical knowledge to adapt to the evolving agricultural landscape.

The Future Farming Expo Scotland will feature eight carefully crafted hubs, each dedicated to addressing crucial aspects of agriculture. These hubs include Diversification, Carbon and Soils, Horticulture and Vertical Farming, Renewables and Energy, Business and Personal Resilience, Robotics, Livestock, and Arable. Through interactive exhibits, expert-led hub sessions, and engaging discussions, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of the emerging trends and innovations shaping

the future of farming.

The event, which has been researched and developed in conjunction with farmers across Scotland, will deal specifically with issues highlighted by farmers and will be tailored to tackling the challenges facing Scottish farming and rural businesses.

Leading industry exhibitors such as Krone, Sykes Cottages, Agri-EPI, The James Hutton Institute, Farm Carbon Toolkit will showcase their cutting-edge technologies and solutions at the expo, providing farmers with access to the latest advancements in the field. These exhibitors are committed to supporting sustainable farming practices and will offer valuable insights and resources to help farmers deal with challenges and develop financially and environmentally sustainable

businesses.

Future Farming Expo Scotland is also joining forces with UK Urban AgriTech (UKUAT) and FarmTech Society. This partnership brings together the UK’s leading authority on urban agriculture and a global non-profit association focused on Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) – also known as vertical farming. Together, they are co-locating a conference at the Future Farming Expo 2023 in Scotland. This collaboration represents a significant milestone in advancing sustainable farming practices, driving innovation, and ensuring the resilience of our food systems.

and tools necessary to thrive in the face of change. Our diverse range of hubs, combined with the presence of esteemed exhibitors like Krone, Agriwebb, The James Hutton Institute, and Farm Carbon Toolkit, will provide practical insights, expert advice, and innovative solutions to empower farmers in building a sustainable and resilient future for agriculture in Scotland.”

In addition to the eight dynamic hubs and the presence of key exhibitors, the expo will also feature keynote presentations by industry leaders, panel discussions, and live demonstrations of cutting-edge technologies in the Demo

Zone, sponsored by Agri-EPI. Attendees will have the chance to engage with experts, connect with like-minded individuals, and explore a wide range of exhibitors offering practical solutions for the future of farming.

Peter Cook, from Opportunity North East, who is one of our event partners, said “From an organisation point of view, Opportunity North East – ONE – is about growing the food and drink sector and the supply chains which feed into it. If that’s going to grow, the productivity per person and margin per person of the agriculture sector has to grow. I think this event gives us an enormous opportunity to achieve

those goals.”

Future Farming Expo Scotland invites farmers, industry professionals, researchers, and all those passionate about the future of agriculture to join this transformative event. Be part of the movement to shape the agricultural landscape and prepare for the challenges and opportunities ahead.
