VISIONS EXECUTIVE COUNCIL Chaired by the Vice-President, Jef Druyts

During this working year, the Executive Council takes on a new and broader purpose than it did in previous years. Its main responsibilities can be defined as assisting schools participating in the Europolis Conferences as well as supporting our National Committee in achieving the goals laid out in the upcoming 2021-2025 Strategy. Starting with the assistance of the Europolis Conferences, the goal is that you will be able to independently guide participating schools and teams to ensure high-quality academic output. Therefore, chairing modules will be given throughout the year and visiting the participating schools will be one of your responsibilities. Further, together with the academic teams of the Europolis Conferences, the Executive Council is responsible for the topic overviews of these events. Secondly, the Executive Council aims at providing its members with the ability to understand the structure of the EYP Belgium and strategise accordingly. Practically, this means that we will regularly go over the 2021-2025 Strategy and investigate its implementation at our events and organisation entirely. Apply through filling in this Form.

EXTERNAL RELATIONS COUNCIL Resources

The Members Development Council has always been focused on strengthening the member base of our organisation through the organisation of events that benefit from the increased number of members to allow for Member activities to be closer to our member base. Over this working year, I wish to continue with this fundamental task of the Council, but also to expand on the Members Development Council members’ tasks by shifting it into more of a member support council. As such, the Council members will work on supporting new members, by walking them through the first steps in the organisation, or helping them with application writing for example. Furthermore, the Council will work more closely with me in reaching out to new schools, especially in areas where EYP Belgium is systematically absent. For this working year, the Council will be made up of 4 members, loosely divided as: 2 Council members for Flanders, 1 for Brussels and 1 for Wallonia.

Chaired by the External Coordinator, Atakan Caglayan

Relations

With many aspects of our organisation, it is challenging but very much rewarding to manage the general image of EYP Belgium. The main working areas of the External Relations Council will revolve around representation and design. In other words, we will work on promoting us on various social media accounts, working on sponsorship and agreements, and helping the future organising teams of our sessions through financing their projects. The Council members will be given the independence to choose their own working areas which will be divided into fundraising, social media management, and maintaining external relations (i.e.: press, partners, etc.). With multiple training on layout, design, and general understanding of fundraising in EYP, we will be working on numerous projects in the long run to improve visibility and further promote EYP Belgium. Apply through filling in this Form.
