EUROPOLIS 1 PRESIDENTIAL VISION SACHA MAGNANI (FR)
“The leadership’s vision of the session is revolving
around
Sustainability,

and
:
inclusion.
These three pillars take a real interest in my eyes by tackling some current major issues of our time and our societies : fight againt climate change, democracy, fundamental human rights, equal access to education, life dignity... In line with the session’s pillars and my view of EYP, my vision for Europolis Conference will be to create with the Vice-Presidents the best environment to the participants’ achievement of three main distinct but complementary objectives :
one of the issues EYP can bring. The format of the session will give to the board the opportunity to create a long term environment which can guarantee to each delegation that pre-session and

“The keyword that Europolis I 2021 will keep in

Environment. First and foremost, we will try to
achieve
'inclusion':
to
create
an
environment where everyone feels safe, appreciated and seen. We will focus on minimizing the use of disposable materials such
as
paper
and
plastics
and
environmentally harmful products such as dairy and meat products, and in this way, by excluding certain things, we will limit the boundaries and hope to open each other up. The latter is also important for our next pillars:
sustainability
and
education.
By
excluding certain products and encouraging an open mindset, Europolis I, as part of a non-formal educational institution, will be required to critically review the current and future structure of European society.
EUROPOLIS 2021
EUROPOLIS 2 PRESIDENTIAL VISION TOM COBBENHAGEN (NL) "As a president of such a special type of event, I want to connect all participants with each other as much as possible. Also in collaboration with the other conference, I want Europolis to be an event of exchange whether it's knowledge, cultural or opinions. By
planning
activities
with
participants
beforehand digitally, I want to strengthen the bond between all participants to take the academic quality of the conference even higher. For officials, I want to facilitate as much personal development as possible, as a lot of things can be possible in such a special format. Furthermore, as the officials team is relatively small, I look forward to having a close-knit group of volunteers that take on this whole project together"

comes to personal development, we want to create an environment where making mistakes and asking for help is allowed. Additionally, we hope to organise a session from which everyone benefits.Regarding working with the leadership, we favour inter-team-cooperation, including space to learn from each other. We would like to work closely with all the team leaders, keeping progress.”
